The holy sacrifice of the Eucharist is the cornerstone of our day. Every morning we are blessed to have one of our Dominican brothers celebrating Mass for us. We are nourished both by the preaching of our brother priests and the holy Eucharist.
We sing the entire Liturgy of the Hours (or Divine Office, as it is also called) together in English, every day of the week. These hours are carefully spaced throughout the day, so that we are compelled to stop working, leave aside what seems important, and turn all our attention again toward God. From the bell for Office of Readings at 5:40 AM until the De Profundis bell after Compline and Benediction, we "preserve the continual remembrance of God" (LCM 74:IV) through our service to God in choir..
